The majority votes for a traditional baby shower

In a non-traditional kind of way.. It will be a baby shower prior to the baby being born. Both Zack & Jordyn will be in attendance so we can shower them with all kinds of supportive positive love, Russell/Barnes/Skittrall style!!

Zack & Jordyn (last name Duce) are registered at Babies R Us & Target.

For those of you that voted for a post baby shower, don't worry... we plan on having a BBQ or 2 in August that can serve as a baby 'show off' event as well.. We'll keep you posted. Plus I'm sure I will be posting all kinds of pictures of my granddaughter as soon as she arrives!

As requested, here is a picture of 'the belly'. Jordyn still looks pretty skinny but she is more than half way there which is exciting for all of us. According to the pregnancy web sites, we now follow, our grand baby should be about 16.7 inches long and weigh about 2.7 lbs.We know she is a girl so the only part the kids are trying to figure out now is a name. I think I have heard them say they like Ryan, Kylee & Chloe. I of course am a fan of Ryan as that is Zack's, my dads and Isaiah's middle name... however I think Jordyn's sister has planned on that name for her unborn child so if that one makes the cut there is probably going to be some drama involved. LOL. If you have any name ideas feel free to post them and I will pass them on to Zack & Jordyn.

With Zack's busy baseball schedule (he's playing on 2 teams this year), Lamaz classes and Jordyn's vacation we've tentatively reserved our only free date before the baby arrives, of July 12th, for a baby shower. However we are also tossing around the idea of a post baby shower, in August, and making it a fun family BBQ event so everyone can see the baby. You can also leave us a post on this and let us know what you vote for.

Yep!! I'm going to the play. My bestest friend (Ronnie...duh) bought me 2 tickets. He said the only stipulation was that he was not going with me. (It would not be very nice to post what he actually said he would rather do instead...but honestly I'm ok with it because I have someone else in mind) and....it comes at the perfect timing for a graduation gift. I haven't told this certain someone where we are going. She only knows that I am taking her somewhere for a graduation gift. The second I see her she will be able to see it on my face. I'm sure of it. So I'm having little or no contact with that individual just so I can keep my secret for a few days longer. She is a young one but can appreciate a good musical when she sees it. She was right by my side when they brought the movie back into the theatres for the 20th anniversary. She didn't even turn a little bit red when I was singing outloud in the theatre. Yes, other people were singing too. How can you hold back to "Summer lovin'...happened so fast" or "Go grease lightenin'...she's burnin up the quarter mile". My special someone even sang along and knew some of the words.

I can't wait to celebrate her special accomplishment of graduating high school. We're going to have a blast!!
