ZACK IS GOIN' TO THE STATE DIVE MEET!!!

HE DID IT!!!!

300 points needed to qualify for the State meet.

the picture is a lil tricky as he is wearing black and the black scoreboard is his background but he got 314.2 points and came in 3rd place today out of the 4A schools, in the last of the 3 State qualifiers....fewwwwwwwwwww!!!
It looks like the State meet will be held the weekend of February 20th at the Federal Way (Kentridge) Aquatics center. If anyone wants to come cheer him on.
The whole family is very excited and proud of Zack's ability to stay focused today.
I'll post more pictures as we get them but you can also keep tabs (on both Zack & Ty and thier school) by checking out Marysville's paper at www.marysvilleglobe.com or in the Everett Herald at www.heraldnet.com.

We found where all the snow went.....

This was my side yard last week "before" all the rain started. The intersection in front of the house flooded out so good we would have been stranded if it wasn't for Ron's REALLY BIG truck. ha! No lie - the school bus would not come down our street for 3 days. Chickens I say! All is back to normal and I only have a few old piles of snow up by the shop. We are ready to take on the New Year and excited for our new beginnings. Here are a couple of things on our lists of things to accomplish for this year:

  • Remodel kitchen
  • Hopefully a small addition of a bedroom (Zack & Ty are way overdue for separate rooms)
  • Get healthier (lose weight & exercise more)
  • Take time to smell the roses (our lives are too busy so this might involve having to say the "no" word)
  • Take Ron to VEGAS for his "40th" Birthday!!! Yep I said **"40"**
  • Take Isaiah on his first Disneyland road trip in April.
  • Build a 3 month emergency fund as well as keeping the debt snowball going (www.daveramsey.com)

I'm sure we will have plenty to add to it as the year goes on but for right now this will get us started.
