~HAPPY NEW YEAR~

Happy New Year!!
Wishing you & your family many blessings and much success in 2010!!
What's going on in the Russell household as we ring in 2010:
This sweet little man (below) has a big change coming on January 22nd.
This week the courtroom clerk told him he can change his name to whatever he wants and she asked if he was positive about the changes. Isaiah asked her if his new name could be Optimus Prime Russell. Thankfully 4 year olds still need their parents approval on name changes. Although Optimus Prime loses out, as the new name, he will become Isaiah Ryan Russell on January 22nd.

All of us are stoked about Isaiah becoming part of our heritage. We are positive that God placed him exactly where he belongs. He was our piece of the puzzle that was missing. Webster's defines 'heritage' as 1. property that descends to an heir 2. something transmitted by or acquired from a legacy, inheritance or tradition 3. something possessed as a result of one's natural situation or birth right.

We will be celebrating the finalization of Isaiah's "birth right" on the 22nd as he has requested.
More happenings in the Russell household:
We have a brand new kitchen. Flooring is in, cabinets are in. Jan 6th we will get the granite countertops. We had a few mishaps on the shipping and such but I'm positive Lowe's is going to make up for our inconvenience(s) (working 10+ years in complaints and appeals tells me so)
Ron & I have been on vacation since Christmas eve. We normally wake up at 4:30 am for work and haven't been up before 9am once on vacation. :) We will ring in the new year tonight with friends & family in our back yard as we torch all the Christmas trees.
Tyler is loving the life of vacation and has tried many times to talk me out of him ever going back to school. However his new gal pal, Summer, makes him see the importance of school and good grades. I like her so far. Tyler is also desperately seeking a job to pay for his new bill called 'car insurance'. Hopefully someone will give this kid and his non-work experience a chance.
Zack is doing well. He has 6 months left until 'reality' hits. I'm very excited and even contemplating buying him a luggage set for his 18th birthday. :) He is finding his stride in college life and seems to be adjusting quite well. He is still an awesome dad to Princess Kylee. Next quarter he will be called on alot more for daddy duty as all of Jordyn's classes are in the evenings. Should be lots of fun.
